Make your Logo Pop!

How can someone stand out? You make yourself known and seen by many. You express yourself in the manner that everyone will definitely remember you. Same goes with a logo. You want your logo to stand out? Then make it pop!

A logo is what represents your brand. It is your identity that should and must be unique to others. Admit it, when you meet a lot of people that have the same name as yours, you kinda find it annoying, you sometimes wish that you have a different name or at least it has a different spelling. And if you have a business or represent something, your logo is what acts as your name. In the business industry, it is inevitable that you encounter the same brand name as yours or have a logo that looks like yours.

How can you prevent this or if not, how can you make your logo pop?

Make it simple! - it is indeed true that less is more. You don’t want to confuse people with those unnecessary details.A simpler logo is much more easy to remember.

Make it thicker! - a logo with thicker outlines gives a more impactful visual representation. It emphasizes details and shapes to easily recognize what it wants to convey.

Give space - the use of white or negative space makes a logo more visible. It gives clarity to what the logo is supposed to mean and adds distinctiveness to make it pop!

Color genius - there’s a lot of logos that stick with balck or white color to play it safe, and honestly, it gives more sophistication and modernity to the logo. But if you want your logo to be colorful, be mindful of it. Make sure it can adapt and match to different colored backgrounds. Test the color of your logo with light to dark backgrounds before deciding which color you will go with.

Make it memorable! - of course, if you want your logo to pop, you may also wanna make sure it is memorable. When people remember your logo, it is easier to catch their interest and gain more audiences/ customers. A focus point can help with this, put a detail on your logo that they can focus on even after they just saw it in a short period of time. A focal point can be put in the center or in the white space of your logo.

You need to have a lot of skills in making a logo, yes, making a logo is not just some buttons, shapes, and colors, you need to have some serious skills and a good eye to produce quality logos. But it also takes a lot of patience to make it pop because there’s a lot to consider.
